In this paper, we will describe the areas of opportunity around Scrap Management that helps melt a Heat at the lowest cost of Scrap possible. These areas include AI tools, the planning of the consumption as well as the acquisition of Scrap, the accurate account of Scrap movements once on site, and the optimized use of the equipment moving Scrap. All these applications help with big savings for most of the current operations managing Scrap.
