SUMMARY:Multitool robot for caster operations
DESCRIPTION:The fully automated robot performs safely, remotely and autonomously different tasks on the casting floor. The system is able to identify the nozzle position into the space using a 3D machine vision system, to position the ladle shroud, oxygen lance the nozzle in case of corks, to take temperature and sampling and to distribute powder on the tundish.
A smart solution that improves operator's safety on red zone area and efficiency.
